Midwest Dental Sleep Centers
Our centers are Illinois' first stand alone dental sleep clinics.  We dedicated our practices solely to the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.  As a result, we strictly follow the practice parameters set forth by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.  The following is a list of patient related services we provide.

Complex Consultations
Your first visit to Midwest Dental Sleep Center establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your sleep dentist.  The consultation includes an oral examination to determine whether you're a good candidate for oral appliance therapy.

Oral Appliance Therapy
On your second visit our sleep dentist takes custom impressions of your upper and lower teeth.  These impressions are used to fabricate the custom oral appliance.  The total appointment time is around 30 minutes.  After the impressions are taken a delivery appointment is then scheduled for two weeks from the impression appointment.

Delivery
your third visit is a delivery appointment designed to deliver the oral appliance and check for proper fit.  In addition, this time is used to teach you about the oral appliance.  We discuss proper use, wear and tear and potential problems associated with oral appliance therapy.

Follow Up Appointments
Follow up appointments are designed to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
